07.04.2004 I decided to fully install the V.A.K. intake system, which means
replacing the stock airbox with an open cone filter. This also means the
crankcase gases would now be directed straight into the turbo inlet, which I
don't particularly care for. So I picked up a nice billet GReddy catch can
and spliced it into that line. There it is nestled inbetween the intake
and uppercharge piping - and it even came with nifty red fittings to
match the rest of my underhood treatment! Now I can hear the turbo spooling up and all
sorts of cool noises under acceleration, when lifting off throttle, etc.
Very cool - and it looks great!
